About Me

My work centres around supporting people in understanding and settling their nervous system — helping to reduce stress, ease emotional pressure, and create a greater sense of balance in everyday life.

My name is Vicky Thompson, and it’s a pleasure to welcome you here.

A Nervous System–Led Approach

Through continued study and personal experience, my work gradually shifted towards a more integrated, nervous system–led approach.

Rather than focusing on fixing or changing symptoms, the work centres on creating the conditions for your system to slow down, settle, and begin to restore balance.

Sessions are calm, responsive, and tailored to the individual. I use a range of complementary approaches where appropriate, but the focus is always on how your system responds — allowing the work to remain flexible and supportive.

A Natural Progression

My path into this work has been shaped by a long-standing curiosity about how we experience both our external environment and our internal world.

I originally trained in spatial design before building and running a successful events business. During this time, I became increasingly aware of how environment, pressure, and pace can influence how we feel — both physically and emotionally.

Over time, this interest evolved beyond physical spaces and into the internal experience of wellbeing, particularly the relationship between stress, the body, and emotional balance.

Professional Practice

My work is grounded, professional, and delivered within a clear scope of practice.

I maintain appropriate professional standards, including insurance, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.

All sessions are complementary in nature and are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric support.

A Wider Perspective

Alongside my work with people, I also offer specialised nervous system support for horses and dogs.

Working across both people and animals has deepened my understanding of how the nervous system responds to stress, pressure, and environment — reinforcing the value of calm, responsive, and respectful support.
