Holistic Health for People & Animals

“Healing is different from curing. Curing is the business of medicine & it involves eliminating symptoms; while healing is the crafting of a healthy lifestyle by eliminating the cause of suffering and disease & then creating a meaningful destiny. Ours is the practice of healing. Healing attends to the Soul and the Spirit”
ALBERTO VILLOLDO
Modalities such as Reiki, Sound Healing, Crystal Therapy, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Meditation, Reflexology, and Acupressure are all integral parts of holistic therapy. While each practice differs in its approach, they share a common goal: to foster healing by engaging in a multi-layered dialogue.
Holistic therapy considers the interconnectedness of various aspects of a person’s health rather than focusing solely on individual symptoms. The term “holistic” refers to how parts of something relate to the whole, emphasizing the importance of mental, emotional, and social factors alongside physical health. Therapy is defined as treatment intended to relieve or heal disorders.
Holistic = Relates to parts of something that are intimately interconnected to the whole (Holistic = Medical capacity = The process rather than focusing on the symptoms of a disease, takes into account the mental and social factors.) Therapy = Treatment intended to relieve or heal a disorder.
Given this perspective, every aspect of our lives—such as our diet, exercise, and social interactions—reflects our overall well-being. To promote good health and support healing, it’s essential to consider the bigger picture.
By creating a reciprocal dialogue, holistic therapies facilitate a greater degree of synergy. For instance, these therapies communicate not only with the physical body but also with emotional and psychological dimensions. This comprehensive approach allows practitioners to explore various realms and address underlying issues or root causes, rather than merely alleviating symptoms.

When addressing the body holistically, these techniques can elevate everyday experiences to something profound. However, the effectiveness of this process depends on the individual’s willingness to embrace change; the body and mind must feel comfortable and prepared for transformation. Most holistic therapies tap into a concept known as life energy, a universal force that fosters both internal and external dialogues. Life energy, often referred to as “flow,” has been recognized for thousands of years and is still relevant in many practices today.
Extensive scientific research has been conducted over the years to substantiate the existence of life force energy, particularly within the realms of quantum physics and quantum entanglement.
In being able to address the body holistically, the procedures used within the techniques, are often able to transcend from the every day, into something far beyond. The ability to open up and forge these connections, however is entirely based on the individual. The body & mind must feel comfortable and ready to allow these changes to happen. Most holistic therapies tap into the process called life energy. This universal embodiment allows for an internal and external dialogue to take place, not just within the body, but in the areas that surround us too. Life energy could also be thought of as “flow”. The theory behind life energy goes back many thousands of years and is still used today, within a wide range of aspects.
There has been a lot of scientific research done over the years to further substantiate the phenomenon that is life force energy. The realms of Quantum physics or Quantum entanglement explain more about the science behind it, in particular.
The principle of “flow” manifests in various forms, including Meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi, Martial Arts, and Qigong, as well as in the holistic therapies mentioned earlier, such as Acupuncture, Acupressure, Sound Healing, and Crystal Therapy. Life force energy connects the internal and external aspects of the body, forming the auric field and permeating the meridians, chakras, and organ systems. When this energy flows freely, the body can effectively adapt to changes or imbalances, facilitating a state of homeostasis or balance. However, blockages and stagnant energies can lead to dis-ease, as discussed in the film e-motion, which illustrates how these effects can manifest in various ways, including illness.
Eckhart Tolle once said, “Being spiritual has nothing to do with what you believe and everything to do with your state of consciousness.”
By establishing reciprocal connections, the techniques used in holistic therapies can help clear these imbalances, allowing natural healing to take place. Once the flow of life energy is restored, the focus shifts from merely addressing symptoms to embarking on a personal journey of healing. Regardless of the specific technique employed, the outcome, insights, and overall experience will vary based on the individual, reflecting the very essence of holistic practice.
