Knitted Interior Textiles

A hybrid apporach to weaving into knitting has resulted in these exceptionally tactile surfaces. Strips of foam escape from areas within the dense stitching to produce a springy texture.

The top two images illustrate the material as a seat covering. The second row shows the 'Contemplation Cacoon,' made from three interlocking panels and the final row shows the 'Glowing Curtain,' Light Emitting Diodes have been added during construction to add a luminous glow to the fabric.
